What is MEMORIAD?
It is a world mental sports Olympic event that is held every 4 years, in line with the summer sports Olympics. It includes memory, mental calculation and speed reading. This year, it will be held in the UAE where hundreds of people will come to witness the smartest and greatest minds compete, and we want you and your students to be a part of it.
Is MEMORIAD recognized globally?
The MEMORIAD is not only a Mental Sports Olympics event but it is an event where participants from 60 countries will compete to set Guinness World records. Which makes it an internationally recognized event.
How many representatives from each country?
We've introduced an upper limit of 20 participants from each country, preferably well split between memory and mental calculation competitors. Since we've got several new countries joining us, we will only allow 20 participants from each country, after which all other participants from that country will be put on a waitlist. Once all seats for all countries have been assigned, we will review the waitlisted participants.
What can I win?
The top participants from each category will win a cash prize, trophy and medal. The prize monies breakdown can be found on the official MEMORIAD website (www.memoriad.com). Additionally, all participants will receive a certificate of participation for their efforts!
Can I win if I'm under 13 years old?
Yes! If you're under the age of 13, you are automatically considered for the MEMORIAD KIDS category award. Given the terms and conditions are met, you are eligible to recieve a trophy, medal, or even prize money!
